Our Career Transition team assists individuals and companies in assessing their situations, defining their needs, and creating appropriate action plans using our proprietary Q5 Framework. - Career Transition: We customize programs of varying lengths and content to help individuals across all levels of an organization – from hourly workers to mid-level managers to senior executives. Our delivery process is comprised of four key components:
- Professional advice and coaching: We’re a partner in offering comprehensive advice to help individuals develop a personal career plan and support all important aspects of a job search. This includes resume development, career assessment tools, marketplace research, interviewing techniques, job lead management and one-on-one consulting. We’re also the only career transition firm that has staff dedicated to proactively finding job opportunities through a complimentary service that matches employers’ current or anticipated talent needs with our clients’ skills. In addition, we offer a unique program called Second Act that examines alternatives for individuals who are completing their traditional career and determining their next step in their lives.
- Learning opportunities: We offer seminars, outside speakers and technology tools to support continuous learning and success. Example topics include effective networking, answering tough interviewing questions, staying motivated during a difficult job search, and using the internet for job searches.
- Technology services: We leverage the latest technology and online resources to support clients in their career transition and job search. This includes a proprietary career and database search Web-based application that’s available to all clients regardless of program type, length and geographic location; unlimited access to computers, printers and high-speed Internet; email accounts; and phone line with voicemail.
- Administrative services support: We offer a variety of services depending on the program level, including private office usage; resume/cover letter preparation and copies; research assistance; merge mailings to target companies or recruiters; and business cards, among other support.
- Restructuring consulting: We work closely with companies to efficiently plan and execute reorganizations and other changes. We use our proprietary Positive Restructuring Process (PRP) – a proven, global approach to help organizations manage large-scale downsizings and facility closures. Our experienced coaches offer separation and notifier training, communications support, call center development, change management programs and merger integration workshops. We also provide training for remaining employees and career and life decision workshops for those considering a voluntary separation plan. In addition, we bring global experience and results in creating economic development programs and partnerships to create employment opportunities.
