Ken Kuchar

Senior Career Coach

Ken Kuchar is a Senior Career Coach with BPI group, North America. With degrees in both math and counseling psychology, Mr. Kuchar leverages his background in technology to provide contemporary solutions for job seekers in the new world of work. For the past 10 years, he has moderated BPI group’s IT Forum, a networking group for IT professionals and managers. He has also presented the seminar, “Using the Internet in Your Job Search,” for over 11 years.

Mr. Kuchar has provided career management services for over 16 years, including managing two career transition centers in Ohio, managing a four-year downsizing initiative involving over 2,500 individuals, serving as project manager for dozens of facility closings and downsizings, and providing many individuals with career transition support.

His prior experience includes corporate Human Resources positions with the Illinois Central Railroad and Sharp Electronics where he, among other things, created and managed a state-of-the art HR Information System. He also provided psychotherapy at two Chicago-area hospitals. Mr. Kuchar holds a Bachelor of Science in math from Purdue (where he was an Evans Scholar) and a Master of Science in counseling psychology from George Williams College.

He is a former member of ACPI (Association of Career Professionals International) where he served as a board member for three years, including chairing the technology committee.
