Janet Crawford is a Senior Consultant for BPI group, North America.
She specializes in corporate career development and transition programs as well as managing large-scale, on-site Career Centers for corporations experiencing relocation, restructuring, closures, mergers and acquisitions. These career centers have met the difficult challenge of retaining employees until their end date (as long as two years away) while providing multi-faceted career exploration opportunities, job search assistance and executive coaching.
An important part of her Career Center philosophy is to enhance local employment and re-training opportunities by building a community support network of local resources including representatives of local colleges, social services, professional organizations, the Department of Commerce, Labor and Re-training Boards, Economic Development, city and county government, and the Small Business Association to engage with employees at the Career Center.
Ms. Crawford also assists her husband in managing a successful transportation consulting firm. This is their second business, the first of which was purchased by a major corporation.
Her academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Education in education with an emphasis in career development from Georgia State University.
