Herb Kessner, Ph.D.
Senior Consultant
Herb Kessner is a Senior Consultant in the Outplacement Practice of BPI group.
Mr. Kessner joined the company in January of 2011, bringing over 30 years in business and leadership
roles in technology, finance, sales, health care and management consulting.
In his current role, Mr. Kessner works with client leadership and staff to develop and execute strategy and navigate personal change.
Prior to joining BPI group, Mr. Kessner was the CEO of Value Staging LLC. He was also a senior consultant with Mercer Consulting and GE Global Consulting. He facilitated a wide range of M&A and change management projects for a global list of clients and executive leadership. Mr. Kessner also served as a facilitator at the GE Crotonville Leadership Development Center. He was a senior career transition coach and strategy workshop facilitator with DBM, working with both Fortune 500 client organizations and staff.
Mr. Kessner holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in industrial and management engineering from Columbia University, a Master of Science in counseling psychology from San Francisco State University and a doctorate in organizational psychology from Northern California Graduate University.
Mr. Kessner is a Charter Member with the International Positive Psychology Association. He is a member of the DaVinci Institute, the SF Innovation Group, the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), the Northern California Human Resource Association, and the Bay Area Organizational Development Network. He is certified in a wide range of testing and assessment instruments and is a student of Tai Chi Chuan.
