Carol Fitzgibbons

Carol Fitzgibbons has over 20 years of experience helping managers, leaders, teams and organizations increase effectiveness, deliver results and reach their full potential. Ms. Fitzgibbons comes to BPI group with a blend of diversified experience in consulting, corporate human resources, and executive education. In her current role, Ms. Fitzgibbons works across BPI group’s key practice areas to deliver a broad range of services, including leadership development, coaching, and organization & talent solutions.
Ms. Fitzgibbons has deep expertise helping organizations develop leaders and managers, enhance team effectiveness, enable career development, improve organization effectiveness, align strategy, and drive large-scale change. She has worked with organizations across a wide-range of industries, including: consumer products, food service, professional services, healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, utilities, higher education, public education, non-profit and the public sector.
Prior to joining BPI group, Ms. Fitzgibbons held an internal OD role with Kraft Foods, where she partnered with leaders across the Corporate Functions to increase team and leadership effectiveness and facilitate transformational change. Previously, Ms. Fitzgibbons held consulting positions with Capital H Group, Deloitte & Touche, Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young. Ms. Fitzgibbons began her career in a variety of training, leadership development and HR roles in a large electric utility.
Ms. Fitzgibbons is a member of the adjunct faculty with the Loyola University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, where she teaches strategic human resources and leadership effectiveness in the specialized MBA program for healthcare professionals. Previously, Ms. Fitzgibbons was a member of the adjunct faculty at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. She has also taught classes to prepare HR professionals to take the HRCI HR professional exam, and has served as a mentor for new students in the Loyola University MBA program for HR professionals.
Ms. Fitzgibbons holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Indiana University and a Master of Science in Human Resources from Loyola University Chicago. She is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), and is also certified to administer a number of talent assessment instruments. She has been an active member of the HR Management Association of Chicago (HRMAC) for many years, and was previously a member of the HRMAC board and served as an interest group chair. She is currently a member of the HRMAC executive development committee.
